Reservations and Cost

Participating groups meet the cost of attending Nature's Classroom in a variety of ways. Some groups choose to simply pass on the cost of the program to students' parents/guardians and most families are more than willing to accept the cost as a valuable supplement to their child's education. Many groups also conduct fund raising to pay for part (or all) of their Nature's Classroom experience. Whenever possible, Nature's Classroom suggests that students contribute to financing their trip. Students who have participated in fund raising or otherwise contributed to payment for the trip not only feel a sense of pride in their accomplishment, but inherently feel invested in the program. There are many great fund raising resources available online and School-fundraisers.com is a good place to start looking for ideas.
